I am currently working on a new portfolio page where you will be able to see more of my pictures and maybe even buy some for your home (if just seeing the pictures as often as you like online is just not enough...). The main problem is to decide how to choose categories and how many pictures to put up there. Since I just got back from Iceland a few days ago all the pictures I like best seem to be from Iceland.
I bought a font today. Oh yes, you heard me. Bought. A font. It made me realise exactly how used I've gotten to finding what I need for free online. This time I had an image in my head of what I wanted and when I found a font that matched that image I decided to go all in, even if it meant cashing up a couple of dollars. Very soon I will have a new style for Amiral.
Weee, I have booked a trip to Iceland and me and the hubby will spend 10 days there in July going around the island snapping pictures along the way. I also have plans to go to the US for some hiking in Yellowstone and to visit friends, but nothing is booked yet.
My new web page is finally getting some attention. Since I work as a web developer and spend most of my days in front of the computer it's been a very slow process to work on this one. The last thing I feel like doing when I get home after a day in the office is to do more web work. Since I spent the winter in Antarctica I found some extra time and started thinking of what I wanted the page to look like and I started working on it there. I will probably keep tweaking things for a while, but this is the general look and feel of the page. Please email me if you have suggestions or bug reports - sarah@amiral.se
My thermos from Zojirushi. Instead of making a mug that acts like a thermos this is a thermos that you can drink straight out of, without burning your lips on the edge.
It holds 2 dl and keeps the drink warm for hours and hours AND I can keep it in my bag or pocket without being worried about getting coffee all over - it's completely tight. Worth every penny!
